I'm not gonna agree or disagree bc every genre can arguably be toxic, including shoujo manga, obviously hentai, and etc. It is obviously made for "adults" who can distinguish between wrong and right, not children. Just like pornography, again they are made for adults, not children.

literally so true. there are 13 year olds who brag about it and they don't realize they are fucking their brains up. Like as a 17 yr old its not cool to be reading yaoi at such a young age, when I see kids bragging i don't think its cool (bc bragging about reading yaoi is kinda pathetic in general) but these kids are victims man.
