The “falling in love with the guy who killed me in my past life” trope needs to die.
I don’t care if he’s a different person now. Do authors not know how trauma works? I’m ok with them becoming friends or whatever but for the MC to fall in love with the guy who killed her is just insane. Do you know how many stories I’ve put down because of this? Do you know how many stories have this? It’s fucking insane.
Also don’t give me that “he was drugged” or “he was manipulated” bs. THAT SHOULDN’T MEAN SHE SHOULD FALL IN LOVE WITH HIM.
