I don't know if it's just me, but I noticed that lots of times there are three categories of semes:
1. The rapist/manipulative/aubser/ huge fucking asshole eventually going through a redemption arc = very frequent.
2. The extra gentle/extra cute/extra sweet up to become cringe and boring at the same time = kinda very frequent too.
3. The well balanced one who's romantic and protective, able to create healthy relationships that don't lack of conflicts but can be resolved in a correct way, etc = extremely rare in my opinion.
Sometimes I wish there were more seme being...filled up...... with lights and shadows, meanwhile most of times it's like pure good versus pure evil. It's probably the seme with the ukes, but I think a bit less? Or maybe I'm just more tolerant with them, I'm not sure.
