I agree with the depictions of gay couplings. Sometimes I do get annoyed at the way ukes are way too feminine, almost depicting that bottoms are only reserved for people that are female-like and semes are for masculine people. there's always been this problem with yaoi and bl where readers who can't differentiate fiction and real life tend to fetishize gay people and homosexual relationships right? I also agree that this is a problem and people should stop doing this, but i've been thinking, aren't yaoi and bl just the same as any romance story, but with homosexual characters? Then, have we been fetishizing heterosexual relationships too as we read shoujo and romance stuff? not trying to offend anyone, just had this thought in the shower .-. i'm sorry if my wording is kinda off
