Same for feeling like a robot sometimes, at least that's how it appears to other people for me. Maybe this is not the same, but for me it feels like there's this huge disconnect between reality and what goes on in my head. Personally, I usually prefer Japanese manga. I find that I'm less likely to start, and far more likely to drop webtoons. There are positives and negatives to webtoons compared to manga that are actually kind of related. I understand how you feel. I affect my parents the most. I feel very emotionally detatched-sometimes even disgusted. I can't look at my mom without feeling empty. She tells me how hurt she is by this, but I can't fake a smile (seriously, people tell me).

In general, I prefer Japanese manga. They usually have a deeper and more aesthetic atmosphere, even when the art is not really polished and all black-and-white. If I compare them to food, they'll be pasta - you have to eat slowly by using a pork. The ingredients are basic and simple but oh so delicious ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

I've had times like this where I just stop feeling emotion and everything is about just getting to an end.
