Honestly yes, I write all the time and things that help me is reading. And no, not mangas/huas/hwas, but a book that’s just lines with no pictures, and see if they can keep my attention. This helps because I see different authors styles and the flow of the story, and the tropes. Also lowkey just wanted to answer this question Bc it was from 2016....... reply
Yes, it is a way of being courteous to other people. You don't know if someone already knows the story, what if they're looking at the comments to see if the series is dropped and end up being spoiled? It's really rude.
