Tbh when I was in middle school I also felt like that. But when high school came around it got a lot better, and in uni it got a loott better. Just keep trying to make friends, it wont happen suddenly but eventually you'll meet the people you click with! Don't beat yourself up about it too much :) Also! Best friends arent always necessary.
