Pls help! If Jian yi father hired he chong means Jian Yi is richer than He Tian right? Is Jian yi's mother rich too? If one of them are, why does it seem like jian yi is poor(like always relying on He Tian to pay) ?

It’s about these two guys who are leaders of rival gangs in a town and one of them has a crush on the other?
