I have no issues with people shipping real life people together as in them thinking they would be cute together but I do find it odd and strange if they fantasize and make up these fake relationships about these two people they've never even seen before like celebrities in their heads then make fanfiction or smut about them.. it's really odd and na...... reply
I feel like it's only kind of fine if the people you write about are 18+ AND you're comfortable with it... Cause let's be honest, some people in their fanbase already do weird shipping and all those things. And if you're a celebrity, it's not very surprising to be subject to this kind of thing.

Fan fiction about real people makes me uncomfy especially if the person them self said they aren't comfortable with it respect their boundaries.
It would make even more sense to make sure that the person you're writing about is fine with fanfics written about them, when it is 18+.
