The only reason I took an interest in yaoi was because I found a yt video of a doujinshi starring none other than Kageyama x Hinata (from Haikyuu), and BOY AM I GLAD I came across it!! Eventually, my doujinshi obsession naturally led me to yaoi/bl manga and I haven't looked back ever since, hehehe. Yaoi really is such an AMAZING genre! And the *spi...... 1 reply
Yaoi has made me more aware and accepting towards the LGBTQ+ community. Ik yaoi does fetishize gay men but that doesn't necessarily mean I have these expectations for real life couples. My first 'yaoi' was Killing Stalking. Not a good one to start with but, it didn't scare me away or make me homophobic. It was my first introduction to same sex coup...... reply
I never really put a name to the LGBT community before growing up just kinda dismissed them as nothing. But now I'm more aware of things. Aside from that this pic just described me on a daily basis 2 reply
It's true I'm not bluffing or making up lies just to gain others attention but yearning for reading Yaoi manga every day made me number 1 in our class(๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧. I'm at grade 11 student and learning under HUMMS strand though I'm quite young reading such erotics things Yaoi mangas refreshes my mind well from some point I thought I'm fu...... reply
Oh I loved that manga. It was so sweet. One of the perfect combinations of great story telling and art. I love when the mangaka don't just go for fetishising and fan service (love that too) but when they actually go deep into the lovely yet sometimes heartbreaking intricacies of love. reply
probably not the best description in the title but I'm searching for the name of a manga I read a couple of months ago, about two school boys who play the game walking home from school where you walk along the line of a road marking and if you step off the line accidently you "die", and they walk past each other on the line every day and fall in love, and in later chapters it goes through their entire lives together.
It was SO CUTE and tear-jerk-y, I really really want to read it again. Anyone know what it was called? ;A;
Since i read yaoi i know love is much much much better than the one in shoujo (no offense tho). I know how beautiful a story can be. Probably one of the best thing ever happened to me, to read yaoi. To satisfy my needs of good story. Nothing beats yaoi, thanks yaoi for existing! reply
Thanks to yaoi I can finally be freed from this world and into my imagination world full of yaoi. When're I'm stressed, bored or sad reading yaoi always makes me fell better, I always have fun no matter which one I reads and I really love the straightforward of yaoi. 2 reply
