I’ve always been a good listener since young and friends come to me to pour their hearts out. I like listening to people’s stories and giving realistic and logical advice or opinions. But after becoming a psych student in university, more people would come to tell me things and get advices. They’ll be like “you’re a psych student, i need your advice cuz you probably learned this”.. and most of them were love problems.. I DID NOT LEARN LOVE LIFE COUNSELING OR ANY COUNSELING (yet) so i just answered mostly based on logic and experience.
Recently a classmate from primary school contacted me online and went full-on telling his secrets to me for a few days straight. I’m very open and chill so i just listened and give him my honest opinions but he just keeps spilling more of his experiences, at some point he got a bit repetitive too. And now he’s included me in his “childhood best friend” list.. even tho I’ve never considered myself close with him before or even now..
Nevertheless, it was nice listening to interesting stories and secrets hahahaha (≧∀≦)
