When I was younger I usually just read everything without really caring, it was more about the experience, but I started seeing a regular thing in almost every BL, r*pe, they treat the subject way too romantically, the top could do whatever he wanted and then apologized and everything was ok, it made me just so uncomfortable and disgusted I stopped...... reply
I slowly stopped reading yaoi. The only reason I started was because I was sick of shojo but honestly yaoi isn't much better.
First of all we've got the fetishizing fan base and toxic shit such as the cloudy consent.
