I don't really think it was an UFO, but that was weird

LoreHappy LoreHappy 2016-04-26 22:54:41 About seeing ufo
I do think we are not alone in the universe (well, that's almost obvious), but I don't think aliens are visiting us or anything like that. And I don't even think that the thing I saw was an UFO, but still it was weird and interesting.
So, I was in a festival in the middle of a field. It was night, almost 3 am and I couldn't sleep, so I decided to walk a little under the stars. I was looking up to them when I saw one light moving in the sky. My first thought was that it was a plane or something. But suddenly, the light JUST DODGED A STAR.
Like that, the light was going in a straight line, dodged a star and continued its path.
It still puzzles me.

Omg, I love these stories. I wish I'd seen one. My uncle saw one when she was a kid and my mom confirmed it. Since then I became interested in UFOs.

Omg so I'm not the only one who's seen one of those strange lights moving randomly in the sky!! I saw one many years ago from my balcony, at first I thought it were a shooting star, but it moved too strangely to be one and I kept following it with my eyes for many minutes before I couldn't see it anymore (because my visual was limited, not because it disappeared like shooting stars usually do). It couldn't have been an airplane either, I'm used to seeing them at night so I would've recognized it... My mum just ignored me when I told her ( ̄へ ̄)

It was last summer (2015) and it was the 4th of July, Independence Day for the United States. Of course the night sky was being lit up by fireworks and sparklers, and where I live is very active with celebrations that can go until 3 in the morning.
I was standing outside my home watching nearby fireworks when a line of red dots appeared in the sky. They weren't perfectly straight, but seemed like they assembled in a formation of some kind. The lights never flickered, and I even managed to get it recorded on my phone. I still have it too. For about ten minutes as the big firework show was going, the lights were just staying in that one spot, so they weren't fireworks.
When the grand finale of the show ended one by one they zipped forward and over my head away in the sky; streaks of red in the dark sky. The next day, so many people in the area reported stories of the red lights, and we are curious if they will appear again this coming 4th of July. We shall see!

I'm not sure if I can. It was taken using a Blackberry before I could afford to get an iPhone. The composition may not make it compatible for any other format except my phone, but I can try!

What do you mean by dodged? Like a shooting star came and it dodged that, or you saw it dodge a star that was still?

LoreHappy April 27, 2016 2:57 am

The star was still, yeah, so the light (it was like another common star) was going directly to that star. If it was a plane, well, it would have continued straight, but this light just dodged it. In fact, the light circled the star and cotinued its original path.
I still can't understand what the frikiti frak happened

well damn, whatever the hell it was it must be really big then. There is so much about space we do not know it is so weird! I wish I could have seen it as well.
