How do you usually spend or like to spend your birthday?
I have been noticing recently that many people close to me usually spend their birthday alone or with few close friends, usually at home, many either because of lack of time or because of lack of interest surrounding the whole birthday thing. I wonder how users of mangago like to spend that day. Care do share you experience?
I like to pretend it isn't happening lol. I hate getting older and I feel weird with so much attention on me. My mom doesn't get it; we fight because she wants to do something for my birthday and I don't. Once you pass 21, how important is it really? Basically, I try to "erase" the day. reply
My friends usually ask me if i wanna go out or something but i like to spend it alone, i still go out with them nothing big just dinner and that's it. I feel like as i get older i feel less enthusiastic about my birthday. I didnt get any presents when i was younger neither big partys so every year is the same :) ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ reply
Just having dinner together with my family can easily make me happy, although we do it everyday. I rarely ask them to give me any presents. I always ask my father if he could stop smoking even just on my birthday but he never does what I say, which makes me feel really sad. A birthday party with friends!
Well last year I turned 18 and had planned on chilling at home reading manga/ watching Netflix or the like. But since both of my parents forgot about it (my sister remembered) they felt bad and decided that we go and eat out. It was a nice surprise! Expecially when I had had a bad day.

the last time i spent my bday with my friend/friends was age 7..... so i am not planning to congratulate it ever again.... and my birthday is 10th of september and that means summer holiday in my country so nobody is in their cities... reply
Doesnt having any experience because my parent forget about it. Damn.. they only celebrate my younger sister birthday.. okey whatever. My friend also doesnt know. The romantic partner I had last year at the time made my Birthday memorable. My family usually just buys my a cake and/or takes me out to a fancy dinner, invites a few friends of theirs (I have no friends lol)...
