I was in middle school (I think) and I was reading shoujo. Then, I got so annoyed with the common tropes and went on to reading smut and josei. I remembered my sister at the time was into yaoi so I tried it out and that’s when it started. Although, I’m more obsessed with yaoi compared to how my sister was back then. Side story: When I was little I found my sister’s hetalia doujinshi paper book that she bought from one of her anime conventions. It was in Japanese so I didn’t understand what was happening but that was how I found out my sister was into yaoi. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ (It was between Italy and Germany btw)
