Incest in Mangas
I always feel very uncomfortable reading mangas (or any type of literature) with incest relationships on it. No matter how good the story, and art was, even it it's just a hint, my brain will automatically split into stop-or-continue mode. If the incest was confirmed, I'll close that tab right away. I know it's not just me, so raise your hand if you are with me.
I like it if they're cousins or step siblings. Half-siblings or more usually not although there is a yaoi manga where I find it acceptable because the family has this curse where they fall in love with their brothers and sisters. Every generation of it, so I feel like it's out of their control. reply
I used to say 'Whatever' when I came across one and read it anyway, but now I just constantly imagine myself in the position and it makes me wanna barf ahaha. Maybe the fact that I was raised as a single child makes it easier for me to swallow it.... *no pun intended*.... But yeah, I like it, mostly between male twins, (Twincest=Wincest) lol. Even if I had siblings, it's not like I'd actually want to do something to them, you just have to learn how to separate fiction from reality. reply
