Well my boyfriend knows i read bl till now but not yaoi . Sometimes he listens to me explaing some randome story when I'm excited otherwise hecalls it gay shit and pass judgment, i fought over it even if its simple bl story. 1 reply

At first he checked it out and when he saw my documents in my laptop filled with all the specific genre of yaoi like "smut", "bdsm" "rough" "steamy". He was really shocked that I was reading it. I had an ex who found out that I did read it(he looked through mah shiet). I didn't really see it as a big deal though. He just called me a pervert ayylmao. I don't ever really bring it up unless someone directly asks me what type of manga I read or w/e. I don't tell people that I read it unless they ask or if the conversation is going towards that...... 4 reply
I read yaoi all the time. My friends that like anime are mostly guys and know I like yaoi and they make fun of me. My husband just ignores it, occassionally he'll ask what I'm reading and I'll show him a page and he'll say "never mind." Poor guy. :) reply
