My opinion on yaoi community
I can’t find the yaoi tag so I’ll just post it here. Alright I know I’ll offend a lot of yaoi fans but here’s my opinion; I really liked the yaoi community when there wasn’t much people who liked yaoi. They talk about different yaoi manhwas/mangas and even straight mangas and it wasn’t really toxic unlike now. Now I just simply hate yaoi community and most of those fans just talk shit about straight and yuri manhwas and say where’s the flavor/spice? Like tf? If you don’t like straight and yuri stuff then just go on your way and read your yaoi stuff y’all are toxic af. I also read yaoi before so.
Most of the yaoi fandom are toxic and fucking stupid, but there are still some people who aren't like that, you wouldn't believe the amount of people I've seen say "I read Yaoi so I can't be homophobic" and my personal favourite "I hate the idea of two girls being together, but I ship hot men so I'm not a homophobe" like wtf those people disgust me...... 1 reply
I mean yeah that's kinda what happens when a fandom gets big.
I'm sure there were toxic fans even before the only difference now is that they're very vocal cause they know they'll get attention
Bigger fandom = more toxic fans

Yaoi is self-indulgent in the first place and as such the community is basically a collection of horny people with the only clear difference being that half of them have morals while the other half does not. 1 reply
I get what you mean! As much as I love BL manhwas, mangas, and manhuas, I still love GL ones and I've been trying to get back into straight mangas as well! That being said, I'd be lying if I said GL manhwas/mangas/manhuas have as big of a selection as BL, specifically Manhwas and Manhuas. Yes I read both yaoi/straight but it's always yaoi fans coming in the comments under straight m/mh. I'm just like why even come read this you knew the genre. They'll describe how bad S stories are and how weak the females are. How they don't fight back or defend themselves.
