what do you think makes a yandere well written vs what makes one poorly written in all kinds of media?
do you like the yandere trope or do you think it's overdone? and do you think that the way it's done right now doesn't do it justice compared to let's say older animes such as higurashi: when they cry?

A well-written yandere would be a real mentally deranged person, not just a Yuki spouting bitch (still like Yuno a bit). I don't really read/watch yandere things that much anymore, so I don't know if it's overdone. I guess my favorite type of yandere is the one where they're so insane it starts to make sense. reply
