Anime girls piss me off to a very disturbing extent. Like, they are almost always ditzy or are used for some form of fanservice/ have gigantic boobs that they shove in a guy's face constantly(that one is probably not as common as I make it sound), or they are smart and great until they meet The One and suddenly all they can focus on is their love-l...... 1 reply
Slutty ukes (yaoi), dense and ditzy female or male leads, mary sues and second leads that seem perfect and make the leads look insufficient. And the list below is pretty spot on! x) reply
Oh me oh my, this is my favorite thread~
- Romance clichés. I LOATHE romance scenarios in every other damn genre than romance. I don't see why it has to be added in when a plot is doing perfectly fine. IMO romance ruins everything for me in every other genre.
- Dumb, love-struck, googly eyed leads. They're fine but do they really have to be made...... 1 reply

It gives this illusion of not being physically alone to get that happy ending animes and mangas need. The other minor, pe...... 2 reply
The character who can't choose even when the answer is right in front of them....like they are alone for along time suffering and lonely then when finally falling in love with someone new a person from the past shows up and it's like they forget what happened and is now stuck in a unjustified love triangle... Yaoi in general tbh. Got some love/hate relationship with it. I crave any representation as a gay guy but I hate how it's completely unrealistic, made for straight girls and based a lot on angst and noncon. ( ̄へ ̄) 1 reply
