Stupid, Embarrassing Mispronouncing
I once said mature as in (may-chur) and then i realized it wasn't pronounced like that. Same for Archive (ar-chayv) when its supposed to be (ar-kayv) There's a lot but I'm very embarrassed to type them (￣ε(#￣)Σ
Because of my accept i can barely pronounce fork and I can't pronounce Fruit at all whenever I say it it's like I'm saying froot and whenever I say R people think I'm saying O. There's plenty more I'm just too lazy to write them reply
Lmao nothing to worry about, I used to pronounce them the same way. Just think of it as a part of learning a new language. I mean we cannot pronounce everything correctly anyway reply
its okay XD. I still mispronounce some words, prolly because i am used to hearing them like that and sometimes i even have difficulty in pronouncing them. So when i do that, i just play it off XD. reply
sometimes i mispronounce words on purpose just to see peoples reactions. my favorites to do that with are tortilla or masochist. i usually say tortililila or masakiss. it drives people crazy and when they correct me i just say "i know" and continue mispronouncing it. reply
I cant say Spaghetti lmao I say 'Pasghetti' or 'Spasghetti' and I have to really think about saying 'incense' because i always end up saying 'incest'. reply
