What is your favorite yaoi trope?
My favorite is the popular/handsome/rich/smart/talented seme + regular uke trope. I just like romantic stories with more powerful and charismatic male in general. Idk why maybe it's because I unconsciously hope that I'll be swept off my feet by a dashing prince one day despite being a plain jane doe ...one day....... sob...
I love when the seme have a bad boy vibe, yakuza or mafia, hot, smart, talented, rich, no weakness and overprotective of the uke and won't stop at anything to get what they want reply

I absolutely love shorter semes, couples where you can't easily tell who's seme/uke, or even those semes who look like ukes (like the dude in Yondaime Ooyamato Tatsuyuki), but, conserning "roles", I like seke best. I generally like Possessive/sadistic seme x naive/cute uke with a small age gap (when I say small I mean anywhere between 1-4 years xD)
Or a cold/tsundere uke x flirty/persistent seme. Idk though, I like most stuff except bara, animal characters (I'm fine with the ears and tail), and shota. etc.

I have many different ones as many of us, but my personal favourite is a persisting seme x dominant uke/seke *-* I wish there were more yaoi out there where they frequently fight seriously over who gets to be on top. Any paring is enjoyable, but for me dominant ukes are almost a must^^ reply
