i can't stress this enough, even though school sucks ass, your grades need to be kept up in order for you to get a job and not end up as a mcdonalds' cashier. highschool dropouts/graduates do not have that many job options either.

Send an email to the teacher about the essay and make it seem like you’re doing something but you didn’t have the time to finish it on the due date, or something along those lines? It depends on what type of teacher you have
After that, you could listen to some fast paced music like coconut mall and do your essay pretty quickly
