Here's something I don't see people talk about much, it's something I love doing regularly on summer nights, or any non freezing night really. Soo I decided to write this because I wanna recommend it to others, unfortunately it's only worth looking at in a more country like area so for those in the city... Not as simple. I personally go on my roof, and will listen to music while I count the shooting stars. I wish to do this with someone one day especially my lover (we're long distance) But I hope this is useful to someone, I know it can be boring but it sure as heck can be great too.
I can imagine how good that is! I usually don't go on rooftops (knowing my luck plus my fear of heights, the universe would probably explode), normally I prefer to open the window of my room (i know it might not be the best view ever, but it's kinda of peacefull and calming for me), even if it is raining (which makes everything even better), so i can lie in my bed and listen to some music on the headphones while reading a book. Watch the stars like that sounds amazing, but where I live they are not visible very easily? ;w; Even so, I'm lucky to spare some night time for looking at them from a balcony :D Also, best of luck for you and your lover! Hope you two will be couting the shooting stars together soon.
