I think they should add more yuri and shoujo ai in general. I'm looking at the yaoi tag and it has at least 5 times more content than the yuri tag. The gap for shoujo ai isn't as large, but it would be great to have some more. Might as well add some more bara in the mix, cause the numbers are abysmally low. GL is often infantilized by the straight male authors or readership. Basically they think wlw are all cutesy cute who just softly touch each other instead of having sex. And when they do have sex it’s all cute and rainbow (they rarely portray intense sex).
Also some male authors might subconsciously think that if these girls don’t have sex the...... reply
unfortunately even in japan there is very little gl series in comparison to bl series
the melonbooks in denden town has an entire aisle full of bl but the gl only gets one tiny shelf. hopefully the amount of gl series will increase in the future, but for now there just isn't that much to translate. v__v reply
