I came out to my mom today, and she said that there's something mentally wrong with transgenders, and that I'm confused.. damn. the thing is, i put myself back onto the closet and told everyone it was a joke..

Nothing is wrong with you. But your mom, yes. If there was something really wrong with you, the doctors would've noticed it at your first checkup when you were born. Or she would've noticed it throughout your childhood, noticed how she's only said something about it when you came out? Because she wants you to be a straight cis person. She wants you to feel so bad that you never think about being the opposite gender ever again just to please her. She's selfish, and transphobic, and loud and wrong. she’s wrong. there’s nothing mentally wrong with you. you were born into the wrong body. she should be proud that you in trusted something to her that’s so hard to talk to your parents about. you’re not confused. i’m not transgender but i’ve experienced something similar when i came out as bi to my dad. he said to couldn’t be also into girls because i wasn’t “masculine enough” and said the media influenced me. all i’m trying to convey is, only you get to decide who you are, if you’re a boy, you’re a boy. (i’m assuming you’re ftm by the topic but sorry if i’m wrong) and there’s nothing wrong with that at all, anyone who says otherwise is bigoted. so just b you boo :)
