yoshi and meatball

PickleBuddy PickleBuddy 2016-06-17 04:43:55 About adopting cats
So one day, on summer , like a year ago I was walking down this street and it was quiet and hot as hell. While looking at some birdies up in the trees I heard a really loud meow and couldn't really tell where it was coming from... Then I heard a meow again and again and looked down and saw this tiny little gray and white kitten with these beautiful big blue eyes and tiny pink paws and nose and I couldn't help but run up to him and scoop this little angel up in my arms.. He looked lost and kept crying and he looked so skinny.. I couldn't just leave him there. I asked a friend of mine that owns two cats and a giant dog named Rocky to hold him for me while I convinced my parents to keep this poor little stray.. They said yes :3 now I've had Yoshi for a year and he is the best cat anyone can ask for. He sleeps with me, he licks my face, he purrs louder than a truck and he will always follow me no matter what. In fact, while I'm typing this he's sleeping right beside my feet. I remember when we first got him and he used to drink his bottle and he resembled a little baby human :3 he got annoying sometimes, and I couldn't handle it but now its all worth it . I have a new puppy named meatball and they always play fight together :3. What this experience with Yoshi makes me feel is that we should all be so thankful to have such wonderful creatures that love us so much. Even if I hadn't saved Yoshi, he would still probably love me. Animals would never ever hurt your feelings like some humans would, and they'd never betray us. They may be stubborn, annoying, or even downright distracting at times, but its all worth it for the amount of love these animals give to you during their short lives :) nothing has made me happier than yoshi and I think that if I didn't have him, I wouldn't be as happy as I am now. I really want to stop animal cruelty and neglect, and I can't believe that even after so many humans abuse their animals, these dear beings would never even THINK of hating us. They'd only be scared, threatened, and the only thing they can think of I'd protecting themselves, but never hating. Wow I just noticed I'm on a fucking cat forum and I wrote a god damn essay on my love for animals wtf how did this escalate so quickly XD I'm sorry guys. Anyways goodbye all you cat lovers! yoshi and meatball =P yoshi is almost a year and meatball is three months
