Do girls prefer romance or action more???
I wanted to ask because I plan to start writing a novel of my own and it might ask who I want my novel to be targeted at. It's supposed to have action and barely any romance but I thought why not see if I should do action or romance if that makes sense-
as a woman, i like both but i feel like you should remember if you are using both don’t cloud the main plot with romance/action. i feel like it drags the story out and such.

Neither. I prefer stories that move forward based on the inner motivations and evolution of the characters, not a bunch of random crap that life throws at them. I want their thoughts, feelings and senses. I want their failures and shame, their grief and outrage, their pleasures and persistence. i'd say both but I prefer more romance (づ￣ ³￣)づ for me. Just put the spice *(romance, action, etc.) in the right amount, not too sweet and not too strong (▰˘◡˘▰). 1 reply
The answer is definitely not both.... I love action and that's where I usually fall in love with the characters more. So them having a love interest would break my heart (example Solo leveling)... Well I seldom watch romance but it's my guilty pressure.... It's just my opinion tho reply
If you ask me I gotta go with action without any second thought! But... literally need a lil bit of romance still and unless the story is super good! reply
