Not uncomfortable just cant get into it like I lose interest really quickly, even if it's a really good one with high ratings I read a few chs like about 4 than get bored and it just feels like I'm forcing myself to read it cause I'm not really enjoying it. It would be too long to list what could be the reasons for everyone, but here some of my input:
I think Yuri will be a more interesting genre (to me at least) in 4-5 years. The yuri genre is younger than the yaoi one (it started later on you can make a quick research if interested), hence the readership is smaller and the number of published works...... reply
alright here's my opinion on this whole topic, I think it's completely fine to not like yuri/gl because people are obviously allowed to have a preference. but the problem is that most of these cishet girls always use excuses like "there's no good ones out there" "two women in an intimate relationship is weird" "I only like yaoi, yuri is disgusting"...... reply
I gave a few a go to see if I would like them but I couldn’t click with them. I found that;
1. I just don’t get romantically in sync with girls whereas with straight or BL stories I have a guy (or two) to invest my emotional connection with (if I like the characters).
2. The yuri I read were a little dull. Maybe I need to find some with strong...... reply
