is it ok for bi people to say the f slur?
A couple days ago I saw someone talking about how bi people cant say the f slur, so I looked more into it but that only got me more confused. I'm not asking this to stir anything I just wanna know since I'm bi, and have said it in the past.
I think so. The whole thing with the LGBT ppl using slurs is because they're reclaiming words that are meant to hurt them or something like that. If the f slur can be used to hurt bi ppl, then they should be able to say it. reply
Yes because the f slur has been historically used against anyone who likes the same sex. If a slur has been used to hurt you and people like you historically then you can reclaim it. reply
im bi myself, ALL LGBTQAI+ can say the f slur, kinda iffy with trans people but take it as you will. however, im very uncomfortable when people who are lgbqtai+ call me the f slur because well, homophobia is very truamatizing. so be careful if youre going to say it to other people lol bc more people are sensitive to it than others. 2 reply
I don’t say slurs but personally, anyone in the LGBT community should be able to say the f slur. Y’all fight about this so much and it’s annoying.
