LGBT+ people tells LGBT+ story

My question is: Do you think BL or GL comics resemble life pretty exactly? Have you experienced love story which could relate to BL or GL plot?

Me first: yesterday I read a comic called "Shucchou Host Nyu Boy" and I am really impressed, it reminds me of my highschool days. I studied in a school in Yokohama (a quite big city of Japan). I dated a guy when i was first year ( i am boy too ) and unluckily after we broke up he posted our holding hands and kissing pictures on Twitter without my permission. As a result, I was bullied and disgusted by my friends for the whole 2 years because teens there thought being gay means "abnormal". Therefore, when I read this manga, I was crying because I can remember exactly how it feels when being classified as "abnormal" by other people. But then, my teacher saved me and stopped this shit, she was angel. Afterward, I don't have that fear of being judged, I came out to my bestie in university and they are really supportive. Marrying a police and settling down in Osaka now, I feel thankful for not choosing "give up" at that time. And ofc, one more detail, I marry to the person who bullied me before and he is a police now lol.
