I just avoid confrontation. Just few harsh words can just got in and out of your ear. At least if I didn't react to make that person more mad, he will not bother me after that. If they hit you, run. If they chase you, hide. And when you get away completely from that problematic person,
memory can fade,
wound can heal,
life is only once,
