after years of reading GL and BL anytime i try to read a strictly het romance/sexual story it just feels kind of uncomfortable, like most of the time i just want to click off and read some yuri or yaoi instead jskaglh
this was not the case a few years ago tho since i used to be such a huge shoujo romance fan, like whAt happened aAAAhh
there's some exceptions but this is the case for most het romance T-T
I wouldn't say this is abnormal since GL and BL romances have completely different story progressions, tropes, and possibly even styles of writing. It's kind of like when you don't eat something for years and now it tastes weird I guess. I would suggest to slowly acclimate into light shoujo stories and amp it up as you read more if you wanna get ba...... reply
Omg!! I thought I was crazy. I’ve been consuming BL/GL manga for years & now I can’t stomach heterosexual mangas anymore. I think it’s because it gives me more suspense and intensity that is usually lacking in heterosexual mangas. reply
Yah.. For some reason it became a little bit difficult to read het romance/sexual stories after almost 2 years of reading BL and GL for me too. I only signed in in mangago this year but used to read novels on random sites (some irl) and BL/GL comics on webcomics before I did. I can still read some hetero stories but I sometimes get irritated by FLs...... reply
