My first Yaoi

OTAKKUU0923 OTAKKUU0923 2016-03-26 04:07:50 About first yaoi
I was at the library just browsing through the manga when I came across my first Yaoi manga, it was called Loveholic. At the time I was 11 years old and I just needed something to read. It's fairly innocent no real crazy sex scenes a couple kissing scenes but nothing major. But after I finished it I wasn't shocked by it maybe because it wasn't to extreme guy x guy action. Though how I found out more about Yaoi was because on the cover of the manga it said yaoi on it and I researched it and found more titles and then I became hooked. The second one I found out about next was junjou romantica but it was the anime not the manga.

I don't really remember what was the name, but I remember how it happened. I downloaded an ova, and I was watching it like i watched any Hetro-anime. Suddenly, the two male characters started kissing, then they started taking off each other's clothes.. and i was freaking out, looking around, making sure no one was around. Then, my mother came in my room, so i shut the lid of my laptop, It was a video so the sex noises did not stop. My mom thought i was watching porn, which i practically was. She grounded me for two weeks. I think the ova was for (hey class president)

For me it wasn't a yaoi manga, It was a romantic shoujo manga that introduced me to yaoi. At that time I was ignorant of it, I though gay meant boy who dresses like girl. Then I read Love in the mask, I was shocked that he fallen in love with her while being ignorant of her true gender, I thought it was true love. (Don't get me wrong, I didn't hook up to yaoi manga right after...( ̄へ ̄) (I was really young and innocent back then) After reading it, then I read The one (not my fave but an excellent well written manga that I wouldn't recommend to any yaoi fan) ┗( T﹏T )┛ But I still wasn't hook up to yaoi, I was still ignorant, but started to feel empathy toward them, I was like it's not their fault they fall for the same gender (Well, it was only while I was reading manga that relates to them.) ┗( T﹏T )┛ Then I got hook up to action, adventure, fantasy... Since I started getting bored of shoujo romance (Well partly because around that period I read mostly all of them, couldn't find new ones so I got bored) It was a total mistake that I read one, a silly mistake... (you might even think that I was restarted around that time) I went to mangafox, I clicked on the genre, then accidental shounen ai... I didn't know what it mean back then, then thankfully (or was it?) mangafox who defined it to me as *boys love* I thought it meant genre that boys or any boy will love it because it has boys things like action or fantasy or something.... Then I stumble to Sougiya Riddle... And the damage was already done from the start.... from the day I read boys from the mask.
