Hikikomori, where are you?
Is there any hikikomori here, or someone who has been a hikikomori at a certain point of their lives?
I've been a hikikomori for almost two years. It was back in 2015/2016, but I'll admit that I did go out if strictly necessary, for example to go to work (as a babysitter, once a week). Now that I go to university, I can't say that I'm a hikikomori anymore, but I still barely go out (apart from the times I go to class, of course).
Hiiii! Yes, I've been a shut-in and a NEET for about 4 years 6 months ago. It's not something to be proud of though. While I was wasting my youth with just anime and manga, I didn't know my classmates from before are already married and has kids on their own while am the one who's still single. The thing is, when we talk to someone it's so awkwaaaa...... 1 reply
Yup... I think its because I lack self-confidence and some past experiences resulted to "ME" since childhood until now. I didn't really like to be surrounded with a crowd or go to a party. Then again, results to a loner me. Is this hikikomori? XD ( ̄∇ ̄") reply
After my grandmother's death during my summer vacation when I was 10, I cut out all connection with the outside world and become a shut-in every summer since than. reply
Not a hikikomori since I'm still a student, but every summer vacation and holidays I stay cooped up in my room that my skin would actually go lighter compared to my usual olive skin. I stay in my room watching anime all day, reading manga, sleeping and to avoid the hot weather outside. reply
