Lately, there have been quite a few...conflicts in mangago and tbh as a girl who reads bl (and many other genres) for years now, I never realised that me liking it was so controversial. Like, is reading bl a bad thing? I understand where ppl are coming from and I also feel that there should be a limit. Such as seperating fiction from reality, for example, reading romantisced rape is ok as long as when it happens in real life u don't try to justify it and understand that its wrong or reading bl and know that you shoudnt apply fiction to reality and make others uncomfortable. I am a firm believer of this rule and I hope others can follow this rule too. Thx for reading this and I hope everyone can just stop insulting others on mangago and make this site healthy again. it’s fine to read bl as long as u distinguish the space between bl relationships and actual gay relationships. people tend to blur the line and this is why it’s controversial
also reading bara and stuff for gay men when straight can be weird, dw babe just don’t fetishize gay/mlm relationships
