i, too, read bl and i don't necessarily care if it has sex or not, but fetishizing bl is when you only read it for the purpose to get aroused. its okay to read bl but theres a difference between just reading it and fetishizing it. i think you did nothing wrong, but yet again, im a straight female, so its not really my place to determine what is fet...... 2 reply
honestly I read bl or yaoi for the plot. I drop some of them if I don't feel like i'll like the story or not fan of the art. In my opinion, if you use it to fantasize or as a way for pleasure maybe thats fetishizing it? But if you genuinely enjoy the story with or without sex then its totally okay reply
