So just now my puppies ran outside when we accidentally opened the fence, but my sisters immediately ran after them, there's a guy who has chickens (we never saw his chickens outside before) he let his chickens ran outside ( probably to search food) even though it's some sort of a no to let the chickens roam the street here, the guy said our one puppy bite his chicken and now the chicken's gone missing, he told us to pay for it, but he hit our puppies with a cane until one of them can't walk properly before the puppies went close to the chicken, that's why they "chased" the chickens, what should I do? I just fought with the bastard outside my house (he brought the cane/wood) and I don't know how to react when he came back
