BL (or whatever else) that you were hyped up to read but disappointed you to the maximum level?
So I'm into dark, horror, mystery and angst stories, but preferably the ones that also contain lots of psychology. I thought I would've at least slightly liked Obey Me, but in a matter of chapters I was really weirded out by the captor who was out of his mind but in a "ridiculous" way. I dropped it, since I didn't like the characters, the plot or anything else revolving around it. It was just ridiculous. There was really NO DEPTH at all in that story, at least where I cut it off.
A guy like you........wtf they were basically petty ass toddlers in an adult bodies, no concept of communication and i'm just fcking done with the shitty seme trope. and yours to claim by the same author has the same concept of a "misunderstood" seme who never learned how to communicate and honestly i'm only reading for the art. 1 reply
1.Story of Our Lives. The plot was refreshing at least at the time and had so much potential. Then shitty writing happened and the story ended up being awful.
2.Criminal Interview. Again the plot was refreshing but the Mc was so mf stupid I lost braincells everytime he did something. I dropped it completely disappointed by how the story played out....... reply
I tried but I really REALLY do not understand the hype behind this, I kept reading up to the mid 100s bc ppl said that it’d get better but from what I remember it isn’t worth it at all

Just recommending you a fav of mine, it's not BL actually it's not even focused on romance or sum. "Munou na nana" or "talentless nana" it's got an anime as well. And if you are fine with ecchi (Which I think you are since you've read Obey me for that), "Tamarowa" it's actually good minus so much ecchi (Oh, this is not BL either). Juujika no Rokunin at first was really enjoyable. I loved the fact of revenge of all the people that wronged him. However, I was really annoyed of this one girl in the manga that was just getting in the way of his plans. This girl just gets me so mad. I tried to read it several times because of how seemingly popular it is on here but could not get over the sheer cringe of the first few chapters. idk what even happens in the rest of it, could be brilliant for all i know, i just stopped because i was like this thirsty bitch is just so damn pathetic i can't take it reply
