He waited until I turned 18 to take me out, because he was 22. Well, it was mid-August, right around the time it starts getting humid and miserable. My hair is naturally curly, he'd seen a picture of it straighten and adored it, so I thought since he's taking me out and paying for everything, I can at least make myself look as good as the picture he liked so much. No~ I straighten my hair in the early morning, hoping that'd help but it only made the humidity so much more rich within my hair follicles. So i ended up looking like a mess, he said he didnt mind--BUT I DID. Not only that, I was so super nervous that I ended up not looking at him directly the entire time, I wouldn't even look towards him while he'd driven me a bunch of places.... I felt so bad for being such a bad date, but I really meant for the best. Had I been less worried about my hair being perfect and all that, I think it wouldve been better on my end, but eh, what can ya do~
