"Call me by your name" is one of the top favs also, there is a Korean movie called "night flight" gosh this movie tore my heart into pieces it really does show the bitterness of the real life and how harsh the society can be and worst of all it's based on a true story.
Chinese movies! I was to into one called "Around To Trip To Love", It was so cute the first movie, but the second one was so sad ;_; Also, Uncontrolled Love! My favorite Serie BL is a Thai One "SOTUS"(๑•ㅂ•)و✧

i recently watched esteros and the way he looks. They were really cute and heartwarming movies. My favorite lgbt series are actually thai. One is called 2moons and the other sotus. I enjoyed sotus more and both were based on novels you should watch in your free time I’ve rewatched both two times now lol. Plus it was nice learning more about the Thai culture and the language itself.
I really liked "Call me by your name" and "God's own country". Both are from last year and really well done. If you are into series, there's the old series "Queer as folk". The original was British (from 1999) and only had a few eps but there was a american remake in 2000 with more episodes. I liked both version. I find the series really similar to many yaoi plots and characters. Another LGBT movie that I remember fondly is a french movie "Les filles du botaniste", a beautiful and contemplative movie by Dai Sijie. The english title is "The chinese botanist's daughters". You can find it on you-tube :) I watched it a long time ago, and i still remember it now cause it was just so beautiful.
My favorite LGBT series is Eyewitness, it's also a great thriller. In The Flesh is pretty good too. About zombies and all, it's quality work but sadly quite underrated. About movies, Laurence Anyways is my all-time favorite and it's the most realistic portrayal of love to me (it has to do more than love though).
