Homophobic people-what do u think about them?
My whole family consists of homophobes when they're in the news they laugh and talk badly about them. I once tried to ask them why and their reasons were absurd.. So how do u feel about homoboic people? Do u also have them in ur family or are some of ur friends homophobic? Are u less "anoyed" at religious people, because they have valid reasons? Type away my friends! I wanna hear ur stories and thoughts!
They piss me off, like really. My family has always been neutral about homosexuality but what got me angry wasn't something that concerned me directly. I've had a crush on a guy since last year and I found out he was a closet gay. His family is homophobic as hell. Sexuality is a broad spectrum and people denying the existence of LGBT+ community and going as far as killing, bullying, discriminating and raping them doesn't sit well with me and it shouldn't be with anyone.

Yes, it's agreeable that people are entitled to their own opinion. However, situations like this are not something where opinions should get in the way. Homosexuality shouldn't be treated like debates over vanilla or chocolate. These are human rights and morality we're talking about. So it isn't techinally a valid enough reason for homophobia. It is sometimes hard to deal with them. I try to keep my distance from people like that but hey, are you gay? Is always the first question I get asked when I meet new people then when I say yes they decide to treat me like shit. So I just say yes then if they have something bad to say I tell them that this is my life and they didn't have to ask nor...... reply
I live in a country where it's basically illegal for LGBT people to be together, like you could go to jail for up to 5 years if you're gay; I'm bi, so let that sink in lol.
