Homophobic people-what do u think about them?
My whole family consists of homophobes when they're in the news they laugh and talk badly about them. I once tried to ask them why and their reasons were absurd.. So how do u feel about homoboic people? Do u also have them in ur family or are some of ur friends homophobic? Are u less "anoyed" at religious people, because they have valid reasons? Type away my friends! I wanna hear ur stories and thoughts!
My family doens't hate gay people but doesn't think it's right and I'm pan so it's pretty annoying sometimes, but I can't really change that. Their values must be respected if I want them to respect mine and they were created with them so I can't really change the education they had.

Even if my family is religious, we aren't against homosexuals. I don't think most of us are homophobes since we are used to seeing gay people and we accept them for who they are. My whole school practically screams HOMOPHOBIC.. and i wouldn't expect less since it is a christian school, but there are people in my school that are not homophobic, but majority of the students there are homophobic.

Well, I believe everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and treating them poorly because they disagree with you is wrong. If someone is homophobic then you shouldn't persecute them, however, if they treat other people poorly because of their opinion then its a problem.

The thing is they never (will) have any valid reason. If you ask them why do you hate homosexuals they will say it's against god. It's basically them living in a fairytale world where saying "let there be light" can actually create some light. Homosexuals are real you can see them. God on the other hand... would be hard to grasp to anyone who knows...... reply
