its pretty okay, sometimes it can be problematic, but when the story's done right, its enjoyable to read. the genre also has a lot of potential to be diverse, but most authors are too lazy to think of a different plot, so its kinda disappointing reply
I like the idea but hate when it isn't made specifically clear what to expect. This is more for the "transform" mangas that have the MC turn into the opposite gender for whatever reason but I have read a few that look like they are borderline BL but it's nothing more than queer bait.
