When I was in high school, I used to hang out in a comic book /gaming store, and there was a comic book rack that was 18+ only. The day I turned 18, I thought I'd be a bad ass and buy a dirty comic... They were enclosed in black plastic with only the names of the book on the outside of the wrapper, so I had no idea what I was purchasing until I opened it up. You know those comical moments in movies where someone can't quite figure out what they're looking at so they turn their heads to the side and squint? I'm pretty sure that's what my face looked like as I tried to figure out why there was an extra penis. (The uke was so girly that I actually thought he was a girl at first) Fast forward 10 years and I had nearly that exact same experience with the anime "junjou romantica"... I thought anything with romantica in the title would be super girly and cute... Ten minutes in, I was like... Huh? Wait. What? Did he just? (O_O) Ohhhh. Well damn. (I actually looked up the manga just to get some clarification on that scene and found that the manga gets even more graphic than the anime.) But after watching the first episode, I was hooked. I have since become a yaoi aficionado. :)
