ive always wanted to ask this
but whats your opinions on girls reading bl? i personally dont think theres a problem with it when you just read for entertainment etc, though i do find it weird/unsettling when some girls that do read bl will make it a whole personality trait and kinda fetishize any mlm they see (real life & fictional)
^ (like when they'll see a mlm couple and instantly wonder whos top & bottom, or ship two people just because theyre men...)
idk im just kinda asking because ive seen many people saying girls shouldnt read bl at all which ive definitely argued against, seeing as many of them are in fact made by women.

I definitely think yaoi ISNT part Lbgt+ community (expect some stories which aren't yaoi/bl really) it just a fetish. Shounen Ai has no sex so it more fluffy but I don't know if that is a fetish either. As a woman who likes yaoi genre, some of the stories are weird and fandom is kinda creepy. Honestly for me, it doesn't matter. I am a girl, a straight one, but I still read BL. I never get it when people say reading BL is fetishizing or weird if you aren't gay yourself.
