Dating a man, marrying a man is so risky for women. It´s deadly. Worldwide 1 in 3 men is a rapist. And women´s number one killer is men, not cancer, not heart attack. It´s men. A man who wants to "possess" you, who wants to control you, who questions where you were, what you did and why, will end up killing you. Men were always toxic to us, they are toxic right now, and they will stay toxic unless society changes, until sons are raised to decent and intelligent human beings who respect women. It starts with the media, with books, with songs, with being aware of internalised misogyny in many men and women. If the roles were reversed, if it was women who oppressed men for centuries (denying them education, denying them repro rights, denying them the vote, denying them to possess, denying them everything, legally raping them, killing them systematically, treating them as less) I swear to god, men would have found a way to create new life without women and then they would have wiped them off the face of earth. Their hate against women would be more than valid.
