Cartilage piercings

Cowboy bibimbap Cowboy bibimbap 2021-03-09 21:26:57 About got a piercing
I have a dozen piercings approximately in both ears (6 and 5), i got my double helix pierced 3 years ago, I have three lobe piercings on one side and two on the other.
The lobes heal very fast are not a pain in any way, but oh my god helixes... if a compare it to my conch, tragus, rook or daith that I got way after, they healed so quickly. A lot of people have troubles with their conch piercing, but my helixes are still messing up 3 years after.
One is completely fine, but the second one made a massive keloid.
The result is beautiful though, and if you’re ready to commit to a cartilage piercing that’s way more high maintenance than a lobe one, you should go for it ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I don't understand the piercing vocabs but dang
I'm not allowed to have one until 18 and when I get there I probably won't get one I heard the older the more it hurts

sdfhsadbfsjdhb and I have a small fear of like tugging the piercings as torture like just ripping it

Never heard of it hurting more the older you get. Pain from getting a piercing is different for everyone since it depends on an individual's pain tolerance. Earlobes typically hurt the least, while anything in cartilage areas is likely to hurt more (in the above response, conch, tragus, daith, helix = all in cartilage areas on your ear).

If you want to get one when you turn 18 I'd say go for it. Just get it done at a professional piercer, *not* with a piercing gun and *not* a DIY piercing. Can save you a lot of grief to get it done by someone who knows what they're doing and can answer any questions you have.
