Being polite
I want to know the polite way to react to someone in the LGBTQ+ community coming out to me. Especially someone who i havent seen in a long time who has transitioned into a different gender from what they were before. This isn’t supposed to come off as offensive in anyway so if it is please point it out! Thank you! ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
coming out can be a very difficult thing to do, and it shows they trust you a lot that they were even willing to share that with you. so very importantly, don't say anything along the lines of "I don't care about that, we can still be friends.."

Most important thing is to be supportive and let them know it won’t change anything between you two. Coming out is a really big deal but not every queer person wants you to treat it like one and some queer people really want you to treat it like one. Best thing to do is match their emotions.
