You're not going to hell. If anything I am. We had a reclining chair and I didn't know my cat was under it and I put the leg part up and his tail got caught and broke. I cried for days because I felt so bad and because he wouldn't let me come near him at all. But I suggest giving him catnip and treats to atone for what you did   reply

Apologize to your cat and try to make up for it, I guess? Maybe hug it and play with it or massage it or give it nice food? It was accidental so you're probably not going to hell. I wouldn't know though, since I have never owned a pet before ;-;   reply
